Intro to Plaster Mold Making I: Beginner

Fall 2018 / Ceramic Arts

Learn the foundation principle for creating your own molds. We will make molds from found objects, throwing upside down and hand building forms upside down to create your very own unique mold and how to build a one part and two part mold and create minimal decoration to your molds. Materials list available upon registration. Class includes slide shows, demonstrations, instruction on safe cleaning and storing your molds to prevent damage and how to build the perfect wet box to keep your slip casts nice for when you are ready to get to work.
