Wood Fire Workshop

Participants in this workshop will learn the art of wood firing,
taking part in every aspect of the process. The group will glaze
their work, load the kiln, prepare and split the wood, as well
as stoke the firebox during the firing. Each participant will be
guaranteed 8 cubic feet of stacking space in the kiln.

Requirements: All work needs to be high-fire stoneware or porcelain (firing to cone 10-11) and needs to be bisque and ready for glazing.
Minimum enrollment of 6 people, maximum enrollment of 15 people.

Mon., Tues., Wed. June 14, 15, 16, 9am-3pm Glazing and loading
Thurs. June 17, 6am-11pm or finished Firing (Shifts will be worked out)
Mon. June 21, 9am-3pm Unloading and clean up

Beginning Jewelry Making

Through Instructor demonstration and "hands-on" practice, students will learn the fundamentals of jewelry making: sawing, filing, soldering and polishing.  No experience necessary.
