Spring I 2021 / Ceramic Arts
This class teaches the basics of wheel throwing and introduces textures like mishima, underglaze painting, and the use of stains. Learn how to develop a body of work through demos, one on one instruction, and guidance from the instructor. Demonstrations will focus on trimming, surface, and glazing techniques. Limit 5 students.
Additional hour from 1-2pm, $40
4 week class. Masks and social distancing required.

Course Instructor
Angie Humes graduated from Pratt Institute in 2012, majoring in photography with a concentration in ceramics. She interned with Monica Stevenson from 2011- 2012 focusing on studio photography, lighting, photoshop, equipment handling, and location shoots.
