Hybrid Jewelry Making - In Person or Online

Spring II 2021 / Fibers, Metals, Paper, and More

Join us for a combination of onsite/online Jewelry classes! Continue to enhance or learn new Jewelry skills by enrolling for either “In Person” or “online Zoom” classes held simultaneously. In person students will meet in our jewelry studio with the instructor. Online students will join the class via Zoom, will be able to see all demonstrations, view their classmates’ work, ask questions, participate with others.

All Jewelry classes will initially serve as a “Refresher”. Students will become re-acquainted with basic skills like Sawing, Soldering, riveting, filing, and forming techniques. It’s a great opportunity for beginning students to learn, experience and brainstorm with classmates. Be part of the camaraderie that makes craft!

“In Person” classes are limited to no more than 5 students.
•"In Person” students will have access to all jewelry making tools in the Metals Studio.
•Masks must be worn by instructor and students at all times inside the building.
•Social distancing and adherence to our safety procedures following the CDC guidelines is required.
•Hand sanitizing and washing is paramount upon entry of the art center and during classes.

“Zoom” class enrollees are not limited to student quantity.
•”Zoom” students ideally should have their own jewelry making tools.
•These on-line classes are a great way to re-connect with your classmates while being “socially distant”.
•In your Studio, you will need to set up a cell phone, camera or computer to experience seeing and being seen in the Zoom classroom.
•Students will be sent a link before the start of class.
Please check your inbox and spam folders for an email from the Center or teacher.
Before the start of class, please make sure you are able to access Zoom and that your camera and sound are working.
Teachers are unable to help with technical difficulties during class time.

If you are having difficulties connecting to your class please visit “zoom support”: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/sections/200305593-Troubleshooting
