Spring II 2021 / Painting and Drawing
Not your grandmother’s watercolor class. You may have tried watercolor in the past - or avoided trying it? But teacher Robby Schlesinger guarantees that you will love this class. Learn to control the water, build up color while retaining the highlight/luminosity, keep the paint where you want it, avoid muddy colors and fix mistakes (yes, it’s possible!). Learn washes, scumbling, sponging, dropping-in, pointillism, and sgraffito and more. This is a great class for everyone who wants to paint. It’s also a great class for calligraphers and crafters who will learn easy techniques for painting watercolor backgrounds in your work.
Hybrid - This 8 week class will meet via Zoom initially. Planning to meet in person for the latter half of the session.
