Multi-media instruction is given in a group setting designed to develop a personal approach. Areas covered include watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, mixed media and drawing and painting from models. Discussions and critiques expand the experience.

Imagine adding a special picture of your child or loved ones to the face of a watch! This will be the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries or any holiday. This workshop will teach this technique in one day and you should be able to make more than one watch if you choose. Please bring a photo (or photos). Keep in mind that the watch face will only be 23.5mm (a little over an inch) so a picture of one or two people will fit. You may bring other images besides people. Limited to 10 students.

Expand your creativity by learning how to knit with wire and beads. The possibilities for jewelry are endless. you will learn the tricks of how to knit comfortably with wire and the technical considerations regarding the various types of wire that are used. We will make a beaded, wire cuff bracelet.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of basic and some intermediate knitting skills. Please bring size 2 bamboo needles.

PMC is pure silver in lump, sheet or paper form, or extruded through a syringe. The silver claycan be textured, pierced, layered, shaped or coiled before it is fired in a kiln. Expect to leave with several pieces of finished jewelry. Beginner to intermediate levels.

This is a complete course in making a quartz watch. We will be using Swiss quartz movement and stainless steel cases with leather or metal bands. This course concentrates on the dial making and the assembling of a quartz watch. Several techniques of jewelry making will be taught. You will learn how to make a watch dial using the technique of Keum-Boo (24karat gold on silver), enameling, image rolling or embossing, several patinas, adding photographs to a watch face and other surface embellishing. Come prepared to have fun, work hard and to leave withseveral watches.
