Angie Humes graduated from Pratt Institute in 2012, majoring in photography with a concentration in ceramics. She interned with Monica Stevenson from 2011- 2012 focusing on studio photography, lighting, photoshop, equipment handling, and location shoots. In 2010, Angie Humes interned with Stephen Schuster, where she was able to go on many location shoots (mostly Brooklyn & Manhattan) as well as assist with lighting and equipment. She has worked as a general art teacher for children at Wayne Arts Center, and as a substitute art teacher at Baldwin in Bryn Mawr, PA.
