Arthur Haywood is a traditional artist. He earned a B.F.A in Illustration from The Maryland Institute College of Art, before furthering his study of  classical drawing and painting at Cambridge Street Studios in Philadelphia and Grand Central Atelier in New York.  He wrote and illustrated a book about scholars from the ancient library of Alexandria. Arthur Haywood's work celebrates achievements of diverse people to inspire a love of learning.  From distant travels to contemplating the galaxy, his work elaborates on aspirations.
