CCA presents Philadelphia CollageWorks: The Rainbow Show

A group exhibition by Philadelphia CollageWorks

Over 500 small, monochromatic collages created by members of the Philadelphia CollageWorks, will be on exhibit at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts. The Rainbow Show has traveled from South Philadelphia to Cheltenham for its second appearance. Experience this colorful collection of small masterpieces that are as diverse as the artists who created them. The Philadelphia CollageWorks members have each created small works in the colors of the rainbow including black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple to represent the Philly LGBQT flag. The Rainbow Show highlights inclusivity as well as being a symbol of unity, hope and better things to come.

Philadelphia CollageWorks was established by a group of artists in the Philadelphia area in 2019 with the goal to promote collage as a unique art form. Members include PCW founder Annie Stone, Sue Apter, Angela Arrey-Wastavino, Sandra Benhaim, Amy Brewstein, Bernadette Colburn, Rueben Das, Deborah Eater, Alicia Finger, Deena Flanagan, Wendi Furman, Danielle Gatto, Catherine Gontarek,, Wendy Raskas Greenberg, Colleen Hammond, Linnie Kerrigan-Greenberg, Sandra Koberlein, Gregory Laut, Felise Luchansky, Kara Mshinda, Sharon Ostrow, John Pron, Heather Sandler, Arlene Solomon, Robb Spath, Candace Stoudt, Elsa Wachs, Florence Weisz.
