Fall 2025 Classes / Special Workshops

Instructor Nicole Patrice Dul, M.F.A., will offer a workshop every session introducing participants to the broad spectrum of non-toxic printmaking techniques. Classes are beginner-friendly and provide hands-on experience with various processes for creative exploration. The key is to blend the traditional and contemporary, the technical and the expressive, to unlock the full potential of printmaking.

Fall 2025 Workshop: 4 weeks, Fridays 9/26 - 10/17

Gelatin Arts Mini Journals

Unleash your creativity while exploring gel plate printing, a fun and unique monoprinting method that produces beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints on a flexible gelatin plate. This technique involves stenciling, stamping, masking, layering, and mark-making to add color, texture, and design to paper. You will also learn how to assemble your artwork into charming mini journals and explosion books. The workshop includes a range of techniques, from beginner to advanced gel plate printing, as well as ideas for transforming your prints into projects. A variety of supplies, such as printmaking papers, newsprint, gel plates, mediums, inks, etc. are provided.

A materials fee of $20 is payable to the instructor on the first day. No prior printmaking experience necessary.
