Teacher: Ceramic Arts

Angela Humes graduated from Pratt Institute in 2012. Humes is a respected artist in her field and is known for her intricately designed black and white porcelain vessels. Her work has been recognized by and shown at; The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Nickelodeon, American Craft Council, and The Visual Art Center of Richmond Virginia.

Teacher: Painting and Drawing

Stephen Kennedy is a painter and printmaker who lives and works in Fort Washington, PA. He studied painting with Nelson Shanks and Danni Dawson and has painted portraits for over 30 years. Collections include The Academy of Natural Sciences, Phila, PA, The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, and Campbell Soup Company, Camden, NJ.

BFA, Ceramics, Phila. College of Art, Grad. studies in Ed., MCCC, Temple U., Cheltenham Clay Guild, Vermont Craft Center, League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. Taught at (GYW-YWCA), Mount Airy learning Tree, Wyncote Academy, Vermont CC. Exhibited at The Clay Studio, Abington Art Center, Cheltenham Art Center, Vox Populi Gallery, Artists League of Mount Airy.

Heather Diacont Rinehart is an award winning artist and educator, active in the industry for more than 25 years.

Teacher: Fibers, Metals, Paper, and More

Marthe Roberts/Shea graduated from Moore College of Art, in Philadelphia, with a double Major in Advertising and Illustration. She has been Managing Art Director for Dupont de Namours Pharmaceuticals - Delaware, and CIGNA Corporation - Philadelphia. She has successfully run her own business, Taxi Graphics, Incorporated, since 1990.

Robby Schlesinger is a master botanical artist, specializing in nature-based art and scientific illustration. She also does award-winning watercolor portrait/collage work. She is a Montessori Art Specialist for all grade levels and a Certified International Baccalaureate Diploma teacher at the high school level. She and her family are new to the Pennsylvania area. She teaches adults and children at her studio in Elkins Park.

Rebecca Schultz is a multi-disciplinary artist and arts facilitator/educator. Her creative practice includes painting, drawing, printmaking, and collage; participatory installation and public art projects; and performance art.

John is an accomplished Philadelphia painter.  He trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and has taught at the Fleisher Art Memorial, Delaware College of Art and Design, Immaculata College and Bucks County Community College.  He and his wife Lynn also have a blog: http://viewfromthestudio.blogspot.com.

Shea is a Philadelphia-based actor/singer/all-around creative-type. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Theater with a concentration in acting and a minor in English Literature from Skidmore College in 2015, where she discovered her love of improv and sketch comedy as a member of the Ad-Liberal Artists.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts as a visual arts student. It was there that I grew an interest in actually pursuing art as a career and was greatly encouraged to do so.

Kate VanVliet is a sculptor and printmaker from Philadelphia, recently relocated to Elkins Park, PA. She studied fine arts at Moore College of Art & Design before co-founding BYO Print with a fellow alumna in 2010.

Bruce Weiner has worked as an art teacher and clay artist in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for almost 40 years. He received his BFA and master’s degree from Temple University Tyler School of Art.
