Advanced Handbuilding in Earthenware Clay

Spring II 2025 Classes / Ceramic Arts

This adventure starts out by exploring basic pinch, coil and slab constructions then moves onto building with templates. We'll not only learn how to form pots using the pinch-strip method, but we’ll also use templates and press molds to make awesome cups, vases & trays. By creating our own patterns and textures on the clay surface, it’s a breeze to build pieces which are truly our own.
