Beginners and Beyond for Potters - Friday

Winter 2024/2025 Classes / Ceramic Arts

This class teaches the basics and more advanced techniques of wheel throwing. Learn how to hone your skills through demos, one on one instruction, and guidance from the instructor.  Demonstrations will focus on throwing on the wheel and trimming. Your instructor will guide you toward your own personal goals in clay. 

***Please note this is a 6-week session.***

*Clay may be purchased online with class registration or during office/class hours: $35 per bag of porcelain, $30 per bag all other clay types with exact cash or check only. Clay will not be provided without payment.*

Course Instructor

Angela Humes

Angela Humes graduated from Pratt Institute in 2012. Humes is a respected artist in her field and is known for her intricately designed black and white porcelain vessels. Her work has been recognized by and shown at; The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Nickelodeon, American Craft Council, and The Visual Art Center of Richmond Virginia.
